  • Don't Marry the Dragon, 2003, DVD, 80 min.
    a professional documentary DVD on heroin addiction produced by Larry DuBois who has been a guest several times on There is Hope Radio. It is the story of Lawrence DuBois an ex drug dealer and heroin addict along with very helpful medical and other information on heroin addiction. This DVD has been used by treatment centers, correction agencies, schools and parents.

  • Women and Alcohol, 2009, DVD, 15 minutes.
    ABC News 20/20 reports on that despite being a traditionally a young man's sport, today women are drinking away, turning themselves into staggering targets of sexual assaults that they can't even remember. Why? And what does the drinking do to you physically? The movie, "Supersize Me" showed what can happen to your body if you binge on food. Now a woman has copied that by filming herself over a month as she downed four drinks every two hours. In one month, she changes from attractive -- to wizened.

    Driving While Intoxicated

  • DUI: Dead In Five Seconds, 1997, DVD, 18 minutes.
    Russell Turner shares his tragedy in DUI: Dead in 5 Seconds as a poignant reminder that driving under the influence is a choice. It's a choice that has possible life-long consequences. Steven Leslie knows first-hand. He's spending 17 years to life in prison for Jeremy's death.
  • Is it Murder?, CBS News documentary, 2009, DVD, 12 minutes.
    Every 39 minutes, a drunk driver kills a person -- that's 13,000 Americans per year. One New York district attorney has taken the unusual step of charging a man with murder, not manslaughter, for a driving drunk accident that killed two people, including a child. The DA says the driver "had a completely depraved indifference to human life," but his lawyer tells Bob Simon his client isn't a dangerous, cold-blooded murderer.
  • Classic Teenage Drinking & DWI Movies, DVD, Total run time: 122 min.
    DUI Shock Films Table of Contents: (1) Signal 30 - Infamous shock propaganda film featuring lots of wrecks, injuries, and fatal car crashes. One of the most gruesome historical films ever made. Length: 00:27:00 (2) Anyone At All - Strange film which uses a woman in a wheelchair due to a car accident to promote safe driving. Length: 00:22:00 (3) Bottle And The Throttle - The name says it all. A drunk driver hits a mother and child, killing the child. Enough said. Length: 00:10:00 (4) Few Too Many - Tom used to play tennis, go bowling, and was an avid hunter. But Tom will never do any of those activities again because he has lost his leg in a car accident. Worst of all, his friend and passenger, Jim, is still in the operating room in the hospital. Few Too Many is a classic dangers of drunk driving video that seeks to prevent drunk driving. Length: 00:11:00 (5) It's Wanton Murder - Lowell Thomas narrates Its Wanton Murder with his famous sonorous voice about the dangers of driving. Echoing more popular notions during World War 2, Thomas immediately points out that "death does not exist in war alone." Casualties from bad car accidents each year far outnumber the amount of people who died in World War II, the safety video tells us. Length: 00:10:00 (6) None For The Road - Lab rats are used to test the effects of alcohol, followed by a story about teenagers who kill themselves while driving drunk. Length: 00:18:00 (7) Last Date - Bizarre film in which a girls face gets disfigured in an auto accident. Length: 00:14:00 (8) Party's Over - A young woman, played by Penny Marshall, and her boyfriend get into a fatal auto accident on their way to a party. The fun of seatbelts is discussed at the party. The YMCA Program was created by Hans Kraus, MD., who is widely known as the father of sports medicine as well as President John F. Kennedy’s, Paul Newman’s, Angela Lansbury’s and Katherine Hepburn’s back doctor.

  • The Party's Over: Sex, Alcohol & Pregnancy, 2001, VHS, 20 minutes.
    The three teen couples deal with contemporary sexual health and relationship issues, presented in the context of a party. The couples and their peers explore their experiences and feelings about relationships, sex, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancy in both serious and comedic interactions.
  • Safe In The City, DVD and CD, 23 minutes (repeats).
  • Program proven effective in reducing new sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) among STD clinic patients. Research results showed an approximate 10% overall reduction in new STDs among those who were exposed to the video compared with patients who were not.

    Spirituality

  • God As We Uunderstand Him: Faith and the Twelve Step Movement, DVD, 58 minutes in 12 parts.
    Includes discussion guide and 19 additional segments for a total running time of 110 minutes. The documentary explores the spiritual basis of AA, focusing on how people of different faiths and creeds work the steps and support one another in fellowship.     Grand Prize winner as best documentary, Cinequest Film Festival. Celesta and Karen Davis grew up in a loving family. They shared many wonderful childhood moments and, at the time, thought it all was normal. But when Karen and Celesta were molested in 1978, little was being done about sexual abuse. Their parents' lack of action was neither questioned nor challenged, including years of continued social contact with the perpetrator, his wife and their two young children.

    Documentary about the impact male child sexual abuse has on both the individual and society, and the importance of male survivors healing and speaking out for the well being of individuals, families, and communities.
