The DA says the driver "had a completely depraved indifference to human life," but his lawyer tells Bob Simon his client isn't a dangerous, cold-blooded murderer.

Worst of all, his friend and passenger, Jim, is still in the operating room in the hospital. Few Too Many is a classic dangers of drunk driving video that seeks to prevent drunk driving. Echoing more popular notions during World War 2, Thomas immediately points out that "death does not exist in war alone." Casualties from bad car accidents each year far outnumber the amount of people who died in World War II, the safety video tells us.
